Sourcing Policy | Techmitra.in

Our stories rely on credible sources, including:

  • Official brand announcements
  • Verified press releases
  • Company websites
  • Spokesperson statements
  • Regulatory filings and government portals (e.g. TRAI, official Indian government platforms)
  • Trusted industry analysts

First-Hand Testing and Verification

Wherever possible, TechMitra goes beyond secondary sources. Many of our guides and reviews are based on direct, hands-on testing — including real speed tests, live app usage, and step-by-step verification of tools and services before we recommend them. When we report on a process, feature, or service, we try it ourselves first rather than relying solely on official claims.

This first-hand approach is central to how we verify accuracy, not just how we source facts.

How We Use Sources

  • We cross-check facts across multiple sources before publishing
  • We credit original sources where required
  • We avoid unverified leaks unless clearly labeled as “rumors” or “expected”
  • We do not copy or reproduce third-party articles
  • Where a story relies on a single source, we note that clearly to readers

A Note on Solo Editorial Review

TechMitra is a one-person editorial operation. Every source used in our content is personally reviewed and verified by our founder before publication — there is no separate editorial layer, so accountability for sourcing decisions rests directly with the author. If a source later proves inaccurate, it is corrected under our Corrections Policy.
