Investment and Expansion Plans
Under the new MoU, STT GDC India will invest up to ₹5,000 crore (S$735 million) to expand its major data centre parks in Mumbai and Pune.
A key highlight of the plan includes the development of a large-scale data centre campus in Palava, spanning over 27 acres — purpose-built for AI and high-density computing.
This ambitious expansion is projected to:
Create 500+ direct high-skill jobs
Generate 2,000+ indirect employment opportunities
Contribute significantly to Maharashtra’s digital and economic growth
